MEASURE- QUOTE- ORDER- INSTALL
There are a few ways that you can order from us, but we always recommend that you use our FREE measure and quotation service. Contact us to arrange a FREE survey at your home and one of our expert surveyors will visit you to measure your windows, show you the various options available and provide an accurate quotation.
QUOTE BASED ON OUR MEASUREMENTS
Our expert team all with many years’ experience will come to your house and take accurate window measurements, show you all of our product range and prices and will advise on the most suitable options for your windows. Once you have discussed all the options with our surveyors they will pass all your requirements onto the sales team who will draw up and send you a quotation for the window shutters of your choice. QUOTE BASED ON YOUR MEASUREMENTS OR SUPPLY ONLY
This option is more suitable for those customers who live outside our FREE quotation area (Contact us to see if we cover your area) and are looking for our supply only service or for those who have the professional skills to measure their windows accurately. This is how you get an estimate of your plantation shutters cost:
- Enter your rough window dimensions into our online quote calculator to have an idea of how much your shutters will cost (remembering that our design and buy online has limited options available).
- You can also contact us on 020 7751 0937 or email us sales@shuttershop.co.uk send us your approximate window sizes and any imagery that you may have, so we can provide an immediate rough guide quote for you.
- Confirm your order and pay the required deposit of 50%
- Wait for your shutters to arrive (depending on your order this can take approx. 7-9 weeks via sea or 3-5 weeks via air freight)
- We will contact you to organise a convenient installation date (We also have ‘supply only’ when we send the shutters directly to you and your builders etc install them)
- We install your shutters and you then can enjoy them
We strongly recommend that you use our in house team of experts to measure and fit your shutters due to the fact that shutters can be remarkably unforgiving if measured wrongly or installed incorrectly.

We will require you to confirm your order in writing. Once you are happy, our order team will process the order and liaise with the factory. Remember that all our shutters are hand-crafted so once you have confirmed your order that is your order, if you would like to change anything then it could delay your shutters and may require a check measure, and could become costly, equally if the factory have any queries we will also be in contact to arrange a check measure. So make sure to check through all the details before confirming your shutter order in writing. If you have any questions, then please contact one of the sales team to discuss.
Lead times fluctuate throughout the year and are reliant on external factors such as shipping lines running smoothly. This can vary between 9-16 weeks via sea or 4-7 weeks via air freight (from date of order) for the shutters to be hand-crafted to your specifications and shipped from our factory in China. Please refer to your quote or order confirmation for the latest estimate for lead times. When your shutters are due to arrive with us at our warehouse, we will then contact you to arrange a convenient installation date for our team to come and install for you. It may seem like a long time but there is no need to contact us: we will be in contact with you, we will also let you know if there are any delays affecting your order. We normally have an update on the date that your shutters will arrive with us approx 3 weeks before they are due: this is the time when we will contact you.
SUPPLY ONLY AND DIY SERVICE
If you are using our supply only service or buying your DIY shutters online most of the process is the same except either yourself, a builder, handyman or carpenter measure and install the shutters.
We can still arrange a consultation to take you through the options and measure if you are supply only.
If you are just buying online or we are just supplying for you:

ORDERING ONLINE - DIY SHUTTERS
For Design and Buy online DIY shutters, our online shop is available for those wanting to measure and install the Shutters themselves.
The Shutter Shops competitive prices are discounted from our normal rates as the onus is on you. The shutters are made to your measurements and requested configuration. The DIY shutters will still have the same quality guarantee as our supply and fit service.
The following styles are not available to buy online due to the complexities of the installation. These styles include; Bay, Shaped and Tracking system. If you would like to order and install these styles, please contact us to order.
